Specjalne logo 50 rocznicy wydarzeń Radomskiego Czerwca 1976 może pojawić się w przeglądarce Google
Radomska delegatura Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej rozpoczęła oddolną inicjatywę, której celem jest upamiętnienie tych wydarzeń na skalę światową poprzez publikację okolicznościowego Google Doodle w dniu 25 czerwca.
Aby zwiększyć szanse realizacji tego pomysłu, trwa akcja społeczna, w którą zaangażować mogą się nie tylko osoby prywatne, ale również instytucje.
Udział w inicjatywie jest bardzo prosty i zajmuje zaledwie kilkadziesiąt sekund. Polega na wysłaniu krótkiej wiadomości e-mail do Google z propozycją stworzenia dedykowanego Doodle’a.
Wiadomość została przygotowana i wymaga zaledwie skopiowania oraz wysłania na adres: doodleproposals@google.com. Jej treść przedstawiamy poniżej:
„We are writing to you in connection with the upcoming 50th anniversary of the workers’ protests that broke out in Poland on 25th June 1976. We wish to ask for your support concerning the commemoration of the demonstrations in the form of placing on your website Polish national colours and a slogan relating to the events.
From the historical perpective, the workers’ protests of June 1976 paved the way for the political transformations at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. Not only did the events have a crucial impact on Polish domestic affairs but also to a certain degree influenced the demolition of the communist regimes all across Eastern Europe. On the local scale the outcry was significant for thousands of families whose members were employed in major workplaces in the towns of Radom, Ursus and Płock. For many years the workers faced severe consequences resulting from participating in the demonstrations against the totalitarian communist authorities.
The long-standing struggle against the communist regime grants us the privilege and places a duty on us to continue commemorating the victims of the above mentioned events and promoting the historical truth. Therefore we kindly ask for your backing of our activities by cooperating in the educational and promotional campaign in the form we suggested. Given the global reach of your website, it would not only be our common widespread history lesson about the fight against communism in Poland. In this way we would also promote on a wider scale the 50th anniversary celebration conducted by the Polish Institute of National Remembrance (IPN). The proceedings will be attended by the participants of the demonstrations, their families and the highest state authorities. We count on your empathetic attitude towards our initiative and we hope for a joint commemoration of the people who either lost their lives or faced repressions in the wake of the protests”.
Dodajmy, że wspomniane wystąpienia robotnicze w ujęciu historycznym było preludium do zmian ustrojowych do jakich doszło w Polsce w latach 80 i przełomu lat 90 i z pewnością było również istotną częścią wydarzeń, które zainicjowały rozpad bloku komunistycznego w Europie Wschodniej. W ujęciu lokalnym wystąpienia te miały ogromne znaczenie dla tysięcy rodzin robotniczych największych zakładów pracy Radomia, Płocka czy Ursusa, które przyjęły na swoje barki ciężar i konsekwencje buntu przeciwko totalitarnej władzy komunistycznej, czego skutki odczuwali przez kolejne dekady.
